Vancouver Olympics: A lover of poker wins a bronze medal
Two days after the starting of the Olympic Winter Games 2010 Vancouver, players of poker have already made talk about them. At nineteen, JR Celski won the bronze medal in speed skating, the final of short track. JR Celski is not just a very good sprinter; he is also a confirmed poker player. According to Audrey Magazine, in addition to be an amateurish of open life and passionate of golf, Celski is "a serious poker player." According to this periodical, he can often be found camping, hiking, taking a boat, surfing and fishing. He left Washington for the sunny California to train with Coach Wilma Boomstra. At 14 years old, he was qualified for the World Junior team, but the International Skating Union has notified that Celski was not old enough to compete. Then he injured his back during a course in Romania, turning his career in figure skating backwards. On the official website, Celski explains his injuries: "It was shortly after his return from Italy, when the nostalgia, back, load balancing school and ice formation, combined with exhaustion, was realize together. After a highly publicized crash on short runway of Vancouver, Celski wins his first Olympic medal, a bronze medal.
