Bernard Lee: A journalist will be sponsored by Foxwoods
Previously we used to see during live poker tournament players wearing the mark of online poker rooms. Seeing someone representing a terrestrial casino complex is a unique fact. The professional poker player Bernard Lee has been appointed to carry the colors of the Foxwoods Resort Casino during tournaments; it has also given him the position of spokesperson for the mark. In addition of the two years sponsorship contract, he will have the task of hosting a radio program entitled the "Bernard Lee Poker Show," but he will not be disoriented because he had already hosted television and radio before. Before finishing at the 13th place of the Main Event World Series of Poker 2005, Lee worked as business development manager for a company.
« We are delighted to add Bernard Lee at the Foxwoods team, said Michael Speller, president of Foxwoods. "Bernard is a character so convincingly in the poker landscape, and we are confident that his experience is also convincing and his talent will bring even more excitement and energy to experience of poker at Foxwoods," he added. Lee, a native of New England, was one of the first regular players at the poker room of Foxwoods, which opened in 1992. There he participated in his first poker tournament. He is also co-presenter of the show "Inside ESPN Deal," which is broadcasted on ESPN and poker columnist for the Boston Herald.
