Doyle Brunson: A small pause before the WSOP 2010
The Dean's famous American poker player Doyle Brunson withdraws from all the poker tournaments before the World Series of Poker (WSOP). He made the announcement Thursday, February the 4th, 2010 on his blog. In this release, the big star announced he wants a moment of respite as he will undergo a small dental surgery. Doyle Brunson said that as a professional poker player, he needs a good mental and physical fit to be able to make a good tournament, especially now that poker has become a global phenomenon where many players have great quality performance and high level of play. Such a long break for a small dental surgery! The American star said he may have reached a certain age where the strength and vitality are lacking.
The great Brunson will therefore miss the big poker show of the Premier League in Las Vegas scheduled for February the 12th, 2010 and the poker tournament for stars, World Poker Tour in Los Angeles. His fans should wait for the WSOP 2010 to admire once again the masterpiece of this admirable American poker player. But during this short break he was granted, Doyle Brunson said he will not remain completely idle. Recently, he has wagered of $50,000 for the victory of the Saints of New Orleans at the Super Bowl. He also bet on the final of the American Football Championship of February the 7th, 2010. A good recovery so to our poker player, Doyle Brunson!
