France Poker Tour: Massive attendance for the Day 1
After having traversed almost all regions on France during a little less than one year, the France Poker Tour season 5 land not in San Remo, on the Italian coast or at the Stade de France but inside the emblematic circle of playing of the Champs Elysées where many players of poker were awaited. That is players issuing from live or Internet qualifications, players pros, or simple amateurs coming to take share in the very expected Finale which began on January the 9th, 2010, a Finale which will crown the successor of Nicolas `Nickofer' Ferrier, the winner of the Season IV. The four starting days joined together a field of 634 players, which is a record in the history of the France Poker Tour. Some amateurs present at this final qualified themselves via free tournaments on Internet. Theses players will have the chance to measure themselves with well known players like Antoine Saout, Fabrice Soulier, Ludovic Lacay, Michel Abécassis, Jerome Zerbib, François Montmirel or Roger Hairabedian.
The attraction of this Day 1 was the presence of Freddy Deeb who made the happiness of amateurs at the time of his participation in the day 1D. Let us recall that Freddy Deeb is a regular player of poker of the Aviation Club of France, he is also the champion of the $50,000 event HORSE of the 2008 WSOP, and this tournament in France was very important for him. His presence makes honor to the France Poker Tour. Among the 634 players who took part in the FPT, 63 of them will be rewarded.
