Kris Leppens: 100,000 euros for his victory at the emission Star of Poker
Kris Leppens, a Belgian aged of 24 years, won the second step of the emission Star of Poker on the French channel Canal+ which was held in the golf of Saint-Name Bretèche. He beat players of poker of reputation like Bertrand Elky Grospellier, classified number 3 in the world and number one of French players, but also Bruno Fitoussi. Canal+ transmitted the emission on tuesday evening. It was the first tournament won by this young talented Belgian and the man is more than satisfy because in addition to one place in the court of big players of poker, he also pocketed a jackpot of 100,000 euros as well as the great chance to sit at the final table with a profit of 200,000 euros. The happy winner did not hide his enthusiasm and addressed thanks to all of the organizers and the participants of the tournament.
Kris began to play poker during his university courses and he took pleasure on the adventure. He had promised himself to do the maximum effort for to take down the jackpot.
