Crown Casino of Melbourne: A Chinese accused of money bleaching
A Chinese called Tan Zheng, who lives in Mary Wollstonecraft, in the north of Sydney, was accused of money bleaching of 500,000 dollars. According to the police, after the shrinking of the money in Sydney, he went to Melbourne and use it with another 500,000 $ during one night in Crown Casino, this operation aimed at masking the origin of the funds. In documents given to the court, the police attest that in December, Tan deposited a check stolen on a bank account which he had set up in June in the name of TZ International Trading Pty Ltd. The bank check of a value of 507,575 dollars was in the order of the succession of a woman who had just died, but it was stolen and had been then modified.
On December the 15th, this Chinese had withdrawn 480,000 dollars in a bank which is in the north of Sydney and then deposited the sum in a casino account. After that he had made other withdrawals in other establishments of the same bank. He took the plane for Melbourne, to play in Crown Casino. In the same document, the police said that When the accused left the casino, he had more than 1,000,000 $ cash and tokens of casino. During the night of December the 23th, Tan was stopped with in his possession 27,800 $ in liquid, but the remainder of the money was not found. The police claim that the man did not act alone; he would have been helped by Peng Zhang who is also wanted by the police.
