To close definitively the third season of the Grosvenor U.K. Poker Tour, the organizers set up the ultimate tournament. The tournament of champions during which had clashed all those who gained a title during the year 2009 even if it was in the Main Event or in an additional event of the 2009 Grosvenor U.K. Poker Tour, was thus held. 125 players came to take part in this tournament of fence, 63 of them returned home with something in their pockets. In all, 100,000 £ were offered to these 63 people who arrived in the paid places. Among the players who were in the paid places, we had found the French player Thomas Besnier, victorious of the Summer Series (59th - 250 £), Karl Mahrenholz (50th - 205 £), Nik Persaud (40th - 250 £), Tony Cascarino (37th - 250 £) and Dave Coclough (19th - 750 £). But the supreme title Champion of the Champions went to Haitao Wu, a Scot with Chinese origin.
The Grosvenor U.K. Poker Tour will be back for its fourth season in January 2010. After its years of experience, this English circuit of poker became the preferred poker appointment of French players from his proximity but also because of its low buy-in and its structure. The GUKPT is moreover, undoubtedly, the European circuit which offers the best quality-price ratio. The Grosvenor U.K. Poker Tour will include in all 8 stages for the season 2010, the Great Final will take place in London, in the famous Victoria Casino but also the final of the champions who gathers the winners.
