Master Classics of Poker: Kristoffer Thorsson raid the setting
After several hours of baited fight, the victory of the edition of the International Lido Dutch Open, the Main Event of the Master Classics of Poker was finally taken down by a young and talented Swedish student. Kristoffer Thorsson achieved the final table like a tornado with taking all on its passage. For his very first major title in a great competition of poker, the Swede realizes a true success showdown. The beautiful Dutchwoman Fatima Moreira de Mello, the ancient hockey player before reconverting herself completely to poker, was the first eliminated of the final table. Then the turn of the Englishman, Ben Roberts, came, him who was finalist of the Main Event of the 1998 World Series of Poker and the WPT Grand Prix of Paris in 2004, followed by the Dutch pro player, Thierry van den Berg.
The last two players competing for the title were Kristoffer Thorsson and Saydam Ozgür. In spite of a beautiful exploit of the Turkish Ozgür, who had succeeded to leave his position of shortstack to rise in Heads-up, this last hadnt make large thing face to the Swedish road roller Thorsson, who abused the Turk to arrive at a monster advantage of 7 against 1 in this final Heads-up. With this victory, Kristoffer Thorsson sets out again with a check of 636,120 euros for its first large title, him who had succeeded in reaching a live final table only once; it was during an additional test of the Caribbean Adventure at the beginning of the year 2009. But in online tournament, this poker player had already gained not less than 2 million dollars.
