We are not thus astonished any more by the quality of the field which composes the Caesars Palace Classic tournament, great names of poker of the world did not miss to answer the call. After a few days of rough battle, the list of players who will take part in the final table is known. Glen Chorny who is champion in title of the European Poker Tour of Monte Carlo, Isaac Baron, Kathy Liebert, the incontestably best player of poker that the world gave birth to,
will be around this finale table.
Phil Gordon, Chad Brown, Yevgeniy Timoshenko and Jonathan Little among the large ones were eliminated and had to leave rather early. For them, this premature elimination did not have anything of humiliating because the level was so high. 162 players were registered for the principal event with $5,000 buy-in thus generating an enormous prizepool of $762,129. The first 18 places will be paid. The winner will go back with the meaning of with at least $9,146. Let us remember that the 2008 edition was gained by Hevad Khan. In addition to his gains of the Main Event, his new contract of sponsoring starts to traverse the world circuit, ending in paid places of several tournaments more or less exotic.
