Poker Hall of Fame: Mike Sexton will be registered on the Pantheon
Mike Sexton will thus be the 38th person to be inaugurated to the Saint of the Saints of poker Pantheon that is Poker Hall of Fame. Seen his prize list and the stunning results that he had throughout his career, this recent distinction is indisputable. In 30 years of poker, he accumulated more than 3.7 million dollars of earnings and acquired media fame, effectively; he assures the broadcast comments of the World Poker Tour on television. The official celebration will take place November the 7th during the festivities of the Main Event of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) of Las Vegas. 62-year-old Mike Sexton fills the conditions required to join the legends as Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth, Amarillo Slim, Stu Ungar, Bobby Baldwin, and Johnny Moss in the pantheon of poker.
Without speaking about his results in tournaments, he also contributed to the growth and to the success of poker in the world. He is also the founding father of the charity non-profit organization PokerGives.org via which players can easily donate for works of charity. It is good to remind that the Poker Hall of Fame was created in 1979 by the casino holder Benny Binion to glorify big players of poker, but especially to have a tourist attraction all around his casino. After Duane Tomko and Henry Orenstein, the last persons having made their entrance to this very select club of poker players of legend, it is thus in the tour of the "ambassador of poker" to mark the history of this game.
