Therefore, after three days of lawsuit, Lawrence Burns, an organizer of private tournaments of Texas Hold' em in Pennsylvania was recognized guilty of having benefited from tournaments which he organized and made advertising about it. And it, in spite of the fact that his lawyer tried to convince the Jury during his plea, that poker is not a game of chance.
The United States which counts nevertheless 10 million online poker players, a record number never recorded up to here, do not nevertheless stop criminalizing online poker and even after Mr Bush and his teams departure. Enthusiasts of poker rested their hope on the coming of the new hirer of the White House but until now, everything seems to be in the same situation as before and worse even. The Obama administration is not even anxious to do something against the famous law UIGEA. Certainly, they are not interested in the considerable money that online poker can bring for the States during this financial crisis moment.
