European Poker Tour: The Sixth edition moves to Kiev

Organizers of the sixth edition of European Poker Tour (EPT) had changed their program this year. They did not delay announcing that the tournaments foreseen to be held in Moscow are cancelled further to the Russian ministerial decision which crossed off poker from sports list. The EPT Russia Open planned to be done in Radisson SAS in Russia is thus going to move in Kiev Sports Palace, in Ukraine from August the 18th till the 23th and will be called officially « EPT Kiev Sports Poker Championship ». Fortunately, Ukraine goes back on its decision forbidding poker on its territory further to the fire of a gaming room which killed 9 persons.
600 players are thus going to be able to play poker during this big event considered as the biggest tournament never competed in Ukraine.

This time again, EPT organizers hope to propose better prizepool than that of the Season 5 during which €55 millions were distributed to the 7,980 players coming from 97 countries. The buy-in remains the same, €5000 which means €4700 + 300 €. It is confirmed that as well as all those who were already qualified and registered to play during the EPT of Moscow lost nothing because they can use again their buy-in for «EPT Kiev Sports Poker Championship » or for another tournament of the EPT of their choice. However, sites which proposed tickets for this Russian stage of the EPT also offer the choice to exchange their packages with cash.
