Main Event : The French player Antoine Saout among the qualified for the finale.
After twelve days of competition during which more than 6.400 players of poker were in confrontation in Las Vegas, the names of 9 qualified last ones for the finale of the World Series of PokerMain Event (WSOP) are now known. After a qualification of the French player Marc Brochard, 11 years ago (in 1998) at the final table of the WSOP, Antoine Saout, a 26-year-old young person native to Finistère follws him by as the defender of the national colours for the title of the world champion of poker. Even though the other French players as Ludovic Lacay who was eliminated at the 16th position and François Balmigère ending in the 25th rank tried to resist until the last minute but they couldnt get the same chance.
For the finale table of WSOPMain Event which will be held from November 7th to 10th, this year, the qualified players are thus Darvin Moon, who ends chipleader with 58.9 millions of chips, followed by Eric Buchman (34,800,000), Steven Begleiter, Jeff Shulman, Joseph Cada, Kevin Schaffel, Phil Ivey, Antoine Saout holding 9.5 millions of chips and James Akenhead. With this qualification for the final table, this young man native to Saint-Martin-des-Champs thus makes sure winning at least $1.263.602. But despite he is currently at the 8th position, he still has got all the chances to win the $8.5 millions, the first prize. Saout, a young exceptionally gifted at cards had nevertheless discovered the poker only 18 months ago and his participation in the WSOP follows upon its qualification via free satellites on internet.
