Isaac Baron : A young prodigy to be watched over at WSOP
Few days before the beginning of the World Series of Poker, forecasts are going well concerning the probable winner's identity for WSOP 2009 edition. Isaac Baron, known under the pseudonym "westmentloAA" aged 21 years old only, who will participate for the first time in WSOP this year after having failed the edition 2008, for want of reaching the required age for the tournament, will be a player to be watched over. After having uncovered poker in 2003, during the first WSOP live broadcast, Baron had already won numerous qualifications since that time. At World Poker Tour and at European Poker Tour, this player from Menlo Park, in California (the cause of his pseudo) already accumulated $1.1 millions of gains. And this year, his main target is to add a first WSOP bracelet to his prize list. Having started on online poker sites, WestmentloAA has done remarkable evolution. At once, after uncovering poker on TV, they organized a private party between friends. One of his friends enrolled himself on a site of online poker. Then, Baron borrowed money from this friend, what allowed him to win $4,000 at a tournament of $22 of buy-in. Few times later, he left his study of journalism and devoted all his times to online poker. By enriching his knowledge with discussions on forums and reading, he obtained, in 2006, greater result by winning tournament for $109 of Rebuy, allowing him to get $11,000. And he repeats three times this challenge. He reached, then, to live tournaments and had access to the 35th position during the Caribbean Adventure and 18th position at North American Poker Championships. Recently, at EPT Monte-Carlo 2008, he took the 4th position.
