American Elections Could Help Chances of Online Poker Legalization
Last week's American national elections have improved the odds in the legalization of online poker according to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Harrah's Entertainments. The outlook on the legalization of other casino games and sports betting over the internet looked poor according to Gary Lovemans report in the Las Vegas Review journal newspaper. Gary admitted that Harrah had a strong interest in making online poker legal because the company owns the World Series of Poker brand. He adds that none of the new Congressional committee leaders were 'violently opposed to this process' improving the possibility of online poker legalization.
