Online Poker Room Ultimate Bet Aims for London IPO
Online poker operator Excapsa, which manages internet poker room Ultimate bet, is reportedly amid preparations for a possible flotation on the London Stock Exchange. Ultimate Bet has recruited Canaccord Capital to guide the company during the expected £200m ($347.4m) flotation. Ultimate bet, according to one report the seventh biggest online poker room, expects to earn as much as £30m ($52.2m) thanks to the float. Another online gambling company also reportedly has an IPO in the works. St. Minver, a company that launches and operates third-party online gambling sites, has hired stockbroker Panmure Gordon to aid the flotation plans.
