AbsolutePoker Launches WSOP qualifying Tournament Featuring Mark Seif
Online poker room AbsolutePoker.com recently announced an upcoming tournament that gives players the opportunity to compete against a professional poker player as well as win a seat to the World Series of Poker (WSOP). The event, tagged as "Mark Seif Heads-Up Shoot Out," kicks off this week. On each Saturday preceding the WSOP main event in Las Vegas, online poker players will play off against each other for a chance to play one-on-one against Seif, the resident poker star at AbsolutePoker. Players who succeed in beating Seif will get that week's prize pool plus a chance to play Seif again for a chance at the $10,000 WSOP buy-in. Aside from the Mark Seif Shoot Out, AbsolutePoker also provides various other opportunities for players to win a seat at the WSOP. Every day, the site features satellite tournaments whose buy-ins start at $5. The daily satellite tournaments award airfare and boarding, in addition to the $10,000 buy-in. Players can sign up at the AbsolutePoker site, after downloading the site's software.
