Hip Hop Meets Vegas in New Poker Show
"Bring it to the Table" from Spike TV is celebrity poker with a side of bling. The show turns poker into a team sport, with two teams of rap VIPs competing against each other. Playing up on notorious hip hop rivalries, "Bring it to the Table" sets East Coast against West; New York City against Dirty South, giving them the chance to battle it out around the poker table. Even old-school rivals go head to head. Instead of betting cash, players bet valuables such as watches, pendants and pimp cups, which are later auctioned off to the winning team's charity of choice. The show is created and produced by Pony Boi (a.k.a. Sergio Myers), reality show producer as well as occasional rapper. His upcoming album is slated for release this Spring. Myers is the creator and producer of shows such as MTV's "Sorority Life" and Spike TV's "10 Things Every Guy Should Experience."
