Poker Tour International Publicizes Tour Stops
Poker Tour International (PTI), a televised tournament series with stops all over South America, Central America, and the Caribbean, recently announced dates and locations for upcoming Texas Hold'em tournaments. In February, PTI will visit Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas. March's tournament is slated to take place in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic at Circa's Hispanola Resort and Casino. In April, the tour will board the Norwegian Cruise Caribbean Spirit Ship. Winnings for these three competitions will range between $250,000-$500,000 (depending on the number of participants). In May and June, the tour will make stops in Puerto Rico and St. Kitts, respectively. Poker Tour International is a mid-range tournament series hosting both professional and amateur players, and promises to offer affordable buy-ins and high stakes. The Tour is produced in part by a team of pro players including Lee Watkinson, "Unabomber" Phil Laak, Humberto Brenes, Steve Kates and Tournament Organizer Burt Kravette.
