Eric Buchman took home $ 118,785 and one bracelet - WSOP 2014
Eric Buchman won his second golden bracelet as he emerged victorious in $ 1,500 Seven Card Stud. This professional poker player has never missed almost all World Series Of Poker festival since his first win in this championship: he was crowned November Niner in 2009, and he finished fourth place in this main event with $ 2.5 million of prize. As a reminder, Eric Buchman won his first bracelet back in 2010 in the $ 2,000 Limit HoldEm event; that poker tournament awarded him a check of $ 203,607. In 2011, he secured runner-up in Eight Game Event and finished third place in Seven Card Stud. Besides, he accomplished a rather good step in the WSOP 2012 main event and finished 74th. This Event# 34 of the WSOP 2014 festival has allowed Eric Buchman to win his second bracelet following his seven final tables appearance in this poker circuit. Buchman pocketed $ 118,785 for his victory over a field of 345 players.
This 345 players-field generated a prizepool of $ 465,750, the sum of which was shared by 40 players for a minimum win of $ 2,524. Eric Buchman played Seven Card Studs final table with other seven participants including the 2007 $ 1,500 Fixed Limit PLO Hi-Low winner, Alex Kravchenko. Both of them have one WSOP bracelet each and nearly $ 4 million of earning in their career. Kravchenko also used to be a November Niner, and he finished 4th in 2007 WSOP. This time, the two players met in heads-up clash in which Eric Buchman emerged victorious for $ 118,785. As for Alex Kravchenko, he had to settle with $ 73,360 for his runner-up seat. Aleksandr Denisov finished third for $ 47,315 of win, followed by William Thompson (4th, $ 34,283), Bryn Kenney (5th, $ 25,206), Nabih Helmi (6th, $ 18,802), Mallory Smith (7th, $ 14.228) and David Prager (8th, $ 10,921).
