Darrin Bracken wins the Event # 2 - Seneca Fall Poker Classic 2014
Since last weekend, the poker room of the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, New York, has been abuzz with the holding of the Seneca Fall Poker Classic 2014. After the Event # 1 whose $ 10,334 first-place prize was won by Scott Hosbach, all eyes were on the Event # 2 and its top prize of 12,502. Play resumed on Wednesday with Darrin Bracken claiming the win. Previously guaranteeing a prize pool of $ 50,000, the $ 125 buy-in No-Limit Hold'Em poker tournaments 560 entries pulled it up to $ $ 53,200. The Day 2 was played with 110 survivors of the six previous flights. Atif Choudhurys 46th place finish somewhat carved the 45 ITM places out of the field. The battle went on until the final table was set.
Of the 10 players who made up the final table, highly skilled Darrin Bracken emerged victorious after a hard-boiled heads-up against Michael Sweeney. Bracken cashed $ 12,502 for his win whilst runner-up Michael Sweeney was awarded $ 7,710 of consolation prize. Peter Raimondi fell to third place for a gain of $ 5,054, followed by Chris Ventura in 4th place for $ 3,511), then Sonny Rattan (5th, $ 2,607), Siavash Banai (6th, $ 2,022), Alex Rivra (7th, $1,750), Tomasz Werstler (8th, $ 1,436), Carol Leonardi (9th, $ 1,170) and Mirko Medic (10th, $ 931). Seneca Fall Poker Classic continues Thursday with the $ 300 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em before wrapping this 2014 edition up with the $ 1,000 SFPC Main Event.
