The poker-packed Christmas holidays in Austria - CAPT Innsbruck 2014
Austria is one of the most appreciated tourist destinations in winter. In recent years, the country has also become a popular destination for poker players. The Casinos Austria Poker Tour (CAPT) is back this year to the entire happiness of Austrian poker fans. Absent from the previous season, Innsbruck will host the new season from January 2nd to 6th, 2015 at Innsbruck Casinos poker room. Interestingly, the CAPT Innsruck is a great opportunity to discover the beauty of the city along with its iconic Bergisels Olympic ski jumping activity. Better yet, it is also a not-to-be-missed occasion for players from the neighboring countries to spend a 100% poker stay in the Tyrolean capital while enjoying Christmas festivity.
Speaking of the CAPT Innsbruck poker tournament, the highlight remains the 500 buy-in Main Event; several side events are also listed on the agenda. The Main Event will be run over three days with two starting day flights in which players will be handed 30,000 chips; blind level is planned to increase every 30 minutes of play, and 45 minutes on the ultimate day. Apart from the Main Event, The CAPT Innsbruck features two Side Events during the five-days long poker festivity: the 300 NLHE Deepstack (20,000 chips / 30 minutes level) and the 250 Pot Limit Omaha (20,000 chips / 30 minutes level). Concluding the CAPT Innsbruck will be a 200 buy-in satellite tournament. As for the CAPT Seefeld Main Event, it will be played from January 30 January to 8 February, 2015, at Casinos Austria Seefeld.
