| Event#51 of WSOP : Carsten Joh wins the bracelet |
The third day of the Event #51 of Las Vegas World Series of Poker (WSOP) was been a competition rich of palpitation. The battle between the 30 survivors among the 2.781 enrolled in this 1.500$ No-Limit Hold'em tournament was achieved on a victory of Carsten Joh after more than 13 hours of competition. During the Final heads-up, it was Andrew Chen that he defeated. This latest won the second position with a gain of $412,632 against an amount of $664,426 and a bracelet for Joh. This final phase of the 51st competition in this 40th edition of WSOP noticed the fast elimination of 14 players on only two hours of meeting. Lebiszczak (30th), Alex Jacob (21st), Viktoria Szilasi (13th) were the first to leave the table. |

| Poker tournament in Swiss: The Court settled about its legality |
Casinos’ complaints in Swiss against Texas Hold’em poker tournaments and parties with gambles around the same amusement, taking place outside casinos has just deliberated by the justice. Everything considered, the Helvetica Federal Administrative Tribunal (TAF) decided that poker is a game of skill and capacity in bluff but not a simple game of chance. “Poker is a game of chance and all game of chance, according to law, has to be held in casino”, Marc Friedrich, secretary of Casinos’Federation maintained when he lodges their complaints. Indeed, the group of gaming rooms asserts that because of these tournaments, they lose many players. But the court’s decision was clear, it resumes the judgment passed by the Federal Commission of game firms (CFMJ). |

| Team 770 : Two qualified after the Day 1 of the WSOP Event#54 |
After one month of competition at the 40th edition of Las Vegas’ WSOP, players of the Team 770 still continue their adventures in this famous great world appointment of poker. Among the 35 online qualified during satellites proposed on poker sites like Poker 770, some still participate at the meetings of these last days. Moreover, results recorded by these players were promising and some of them didn’t tell their latest words yet. Concerning the Event#54 of which the Day 1 took place on Tuesday of June 30th, among the 2,800 players enrolled at this No Limit Hold’em tournament for $1,500 at the end of the day, 390 were qualified for the next stage. During this day, two players of the Team 770 will participate at the second day of the competition. |

| Russia: Casino’s operating reserved for four regions only |
Like in many countries, Russia has just modified its legislation about gambles and casinos. From July the 1st, only four regions, all are at least located at 1,000 km from Moscow : Kaliningrad extreme west of the country, Azov-City in the South, the region of Altaď in Siberia and that of Vladivostok, far East, will be the sites able to receive these firms. “Gambling and betting are like intoxication by alcohol of the population, which bring moral and material damage”, Vladimir Poutine said four years ago when he proposed this government bill. And in 2006, the Douma, Russian Parliament’s deputy Chamber passed it. |

No one is 100% certain on where poker was born. We, at http://www.poker777.com present various beliefs, held among the majority of people. Some believe that it was a simple game created by the Chinese in 900 C.E. Others think that poker
comes from a 5-suit card game in Persia that used 5 players at a time. Then there were the French in New Orleans who played a buffing and betting card game in the early 1800's. Apparently, they were the first to use a deck of cards consisting of the
4 common suits - Hearts, spades, diamonds, and clubs.
This New Orleans poker floated slowly up the Mississippi River, spreading in popularity and familiarity in the neighboring states. As train and wagon became a more used transportation, the game was able to spread farther out towards the coasts. By the
1800's, variations of poker, such as the draw and stud poker, began to blossom.
Poker was considered a harmless pastime until 1910 when the state of Nevada decided to make it a felony. They declared that any type of gambling game was unsavory to the people and should be made illegal. California, however, stepped in and asserted
that not all types of poker games, such as Draw, could be considered gambling - While some variations of poker are based solely on luck, others are based on skill. Because of this statement, Nevada repealed its decision and legalized casino gambling
in 1931. |
