WPT: The circuit extends to Venice and Vienna for the Season 9

Despite some problems during certain stages of the World Poker Tour (WPT) circuit, the tournament has always acquired a prominent place in the world of poker. By creating the Regional Series and National Series, the organizers wanted to bring more passion for the game and provide more satisfaction. For the season 9, the WPT is still expanding. Indeed, the organizers decided to add two additional steps in the tournament including the step of Venice and Vienna stage. The city of romance of Rome has already hosted a WPT event last year and the success was in the appointment because 400 poker enthusiasts invaded the city to participate.



From February, 3 to 8, 2011, it will be the turn of the Casino Di Venezia to host the tournament as at a program a Main Event available at €3,300 buy-in and a High Roller of € 10,000 reserved for experts. As for the city of Vienna, it is the first participation in the program of the WPT circuit. The Montesino Center, host of the grand final of the tournament 3 Länder Poker Tour, was chosen by the organizers to receive the WPT Vienna to be held fromMarch 25 to 29, 2011. For this step, the buy-in for the High Roller is set at € 15,000. This will be a new opportunity for the European elite of poker to demonstrate their strengths and skills. But in the meantime, fans of the WPT circuit give appointment in Marrakesh from November 27 to 30.
