EPT: Starting of the stage of Deauville
The Norman step of the European Poker Tour (EPT) has just started in the poker room of Casino Barrière of Deauville. This is one of the biggest poker events taking place on the French territory. For this edition 2013, the EPT Deauville joins the France Poker Series (FPS). Players started the game with the inaugural tournament which is the FPS main event of 1,100 buy-in. Regarding the main event of the EPT which has 5,300 buy-in, the kickoff will be held at the Centre International de Deauville on February 3. And as in each edition, another record attendance is expected. Moreover, the fact that the tournament takes place in a spacious place also shows that organizers hope to repeat the same success again. Last year, it attracted a field of 889 players and ended with the victory of the Belarus Vadim Kursevich. He received a large reward amounting 889,000.
Several side events that will allow participants to play different variants of poker are also scheduled at the EPT Deauville 2013. These events will be available from 100 buy-in. Among the tournaments that could draw the attention of elite of poker is the PLO Championship of 10,000 entry fee. And several well known players have already confirmed their presence. We should also mention the EPT High Roller of 10,300 which will be held from February 7 to 8.
