ACF Poker Tour: Michel Leibgorin crowned in Gruissan
It was at the Phoebus casino of Gruissan that the 68 poker enthusiasts gathered to compete for the title of the first stage of the ACF Poker Tour season 2, last week-end. A prize pool of 46,000 has been met in this competition of 750 buy-in and the largest share of an amount of 13,000 was awarded to the winner, who is none other than the native of Paris, Michel Leibgorin. It should however be noted that big names in the poker world were in the list of competitors for this event. There were among others Jean Jacques Mars, Jean Paul Pasqualini and Marc Marty who ranked respectively 4th, 6th and 9th.
Leibgorin won the trophy last Sunday after rejecting Michel Dubert during the final duel. With this victory, he also received a 1500 ticket for the Grand Final of the second season to be held next during the year 2013. Note that this is his second paid place in major tournaments. Alain Faust, Loic Lozano, David Paillet, Muriel Boukry and Marc Marti are also part of the paid list. They are respectively in the 3rd, 5th, 8th and 9th place. After this inaugural step held in Guissan, the ACF Poker Tour will visit its fans in Paris in January 2013. This time the event will be organized within the ACOP and will be held at the Aviation Club de France.
