WSOP 2011: The November Nine members known
After 12 days of competition full of action, the field of 6,856 players of the World Series of Poker 2011 (WSOP) main event was finally narrowed to nine players. Thus, members of the November Nine 2011 are finally known and this time, European players accomplished a great feat as they will be five to have the privilege to sit on the table in the poker room of Rio in November to compete the next title of world champion of poker 2011. Among them, there is the native of Czech Republic, Martin Staszko, who already has four WSOP final tables and he will start the battle as chip leader with 40,175,000 chips in hand. There is also the 22 years German, Puis Heinz, known in the world of online poker. The UK will be also represented by the young player of 22 years, Sam Holden known by the nickname "SamDMND" on the Internet.
Author of a second place in the World Poker Tour Marrakesh 2009, the son of the Irish famous poker player Donnocha, Eoghan O'Dea, will also defend the honor of his country by being at the second position with a stack of 33,925,000. Ukraine will be also honored with the participation of Anton Makiievskyi. He is the youngest of this final table because he is only 21 years. The last foreign competitor on the final table is the Lebanese Badih Bounahra. This father of 49 years is far from being a professional in poker but his skill allowed him to be part of the adventure. And three Americans will complete the finalist's list who are Matt Gianetti, a cash game pro of 26 years old and author of 10 final tables, including two at the WSOP, the player Phil Collins of Illinois with 8 WSOP ITM and Ben Lamb who stands currently at the top of the WSOP Player of the Year ranking.
