French poker players earnings 2011: Only three good rankings
The last Grand Final of the European Poker Tour in Madrid was crucial in the ranking of the top 20 French players. Effectively, the latest earnings won by French poker players significantly changed the final summarization table. French participants in the EPT Deauville have made an excellent result if earnings are concerned. Seen that the World Series of Poker tournaments (WSOP) count 58 events, they would surely make a similar change because their chances to win will rise, too. Note that the top three French poker players surpassed in term of earnings because they earned more than 1 million dollars and the 17 remaining players have to do a very long way if they want to catch up them.
Just a few days before the WSOP 2011 kickoff, the current ranking of French poker players can be summarized as follows: at the first position, there is David Benyamine with 1,383,832 dollars, $ 1,331,300 for Lucien Cohen placed second, the third position is occupied by Bertrand Grospellier who has $ 1,261,093, fourth Julien Claudepierre with $ 353,871, fifth Ronan Collet ($ 351,665), sixth Basil Yaiche ($ 213,932), seventh Roy Alain Emile Bernard ($ 211,456), eighth Alexander Brivot ($ 206,644) and Adrian Allain is at the ninth position with a gain of $ 206,489. Besides hat, players ranked from 10th to 20th give a total of gains not less than $ 180,000 and more than $ 137,000 with a fifteenth place well deserved for the only woman player, Fabienne Grafouillère who earned $ 160,059. But compared to the global ranking of earnings, $ 14.7 millions earned by Erik Seidel, French players have then to do much effort.
