Grandes Ecoles Poker Tour: 20,000 to win for the lucky student
After the 2010 edition, a new organization of the first major poker tournament between French schools and universities will mark the year 2011. As usual, the Grandes Ecoles Poker Tour (GEPT) are open to all students enrolled in colleges of France such as business schools, engineering schools, universities, technical colleges and college. For this 2011 edition, there will be two phases to cross to participating students. The first qualifying round will be played at each institution to select the representatives of every high school who will defend the honors of their institutions at the ultimate test which is the second and final phase.
Students wishing to participate in the Grandes Ecoles Poker Tour, 2011 edition, must register nearby their own university where the first qualifying round will be organized. Thus, a series of qualifying will designate the Top 5 players of each school and university in the French territory for the decisive stage, the GEPT national final of this year. This great event to compete for the title of France student champion of poker will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the casino Tranchant of Pougues les Eaux. In all, some 120 students will be expected in the second edition of this new event initiated by the student association Skema Poker Club. At the end of the competition between students of all colleges of France will be offered a great reward estimated at 20,000 that will land in the hands of the student champion of the GEPT 2011.
