UB Pro Poker Classic II: The supremacy of Quebecers still respected
The second classic UB Poker Pro Montreal, who took place in the poker room Four Aces, in the Kahnawake reserve was played the past weekend. This tournament of $ 1,500 + $ 150 buy-in was attended by some 151 players with a majority composed by Quebecers, which is logical because it is a nearby meeting. This appointment reserved a large sum of $ 71,500 for the winner and had as guests the poker pros Mark "Poker H0" Kroon and Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, but they left empty-handed.
This UB Pro Poker Classic II had the same outcome as in the first Classic of last year. Briefly, the Quebecers players are very comfortable when they practice poker at home and they are even able to show their talents in the field when needed. About the results of the final table of this tournament near Montreal, the first place went to the well-known online Quebecois player Chris "D0rit0s" McClung. Moreover, thanks to this victory, he signed his first triumph on live tournament circuit, pocketing a gain of $ 71,500. For the runner-up, it's Tony Pacchioni who picked up $ 38,000. Marcel Vouriot was ranked third and won $ 28,000 in prize money. Let us mention in passing the performance of the player recognized in the Quebecers circuit, Laurence "x Lady Luck x" Grondin, who took the fifth place, winning $ 17,750.
