Melbourne's Crown Casino is reportedly amidst negotiations with an American television production firm for its upcoming No-limit Texas Hold'em championship. The poker championship, slated to take place this January, is expected to boast a prize pool as high as $10 million.

Crown has been working to build itself up as a major casino facility, adding television studios, viewing platforms, and more.

For the tournament, Crown casino will invite internationally renowned poker players, including this year's WSOP champion, Joseph Hachem, apparently a regular at the casino.
