Each week, the live poker player who reaches the top of the Global Poker Index (GPI) is awarded the title of Best Player of the week. The ranking changes weekly according to the performance of players after a tournament in progress and also some other criteria. For this year, the Federated Sports + Gaming (FS + G) is launching the "Global Poker Index Player of the Year" which will reward the best of 1,000 players of the GPI ranking who participated in live tournaments eligible for the vote : buy-in ($ 1,500 minimum), earnings, final place and number of participants (21 players at least). Depending on the result he accumulated over the past three years, the best player in the GPI rankings will receive award from the Federated Sports + Gaming.
