EMOP Prague: Victory of the Swedish Nils Jarefjäll

The Swedish Nils Jarefjäll won the trophy of the inaugural stage of the European Masters of Poker (EMOP) season 4. Indeed, having been in pole position at the beginning of the final table, the Swedish maintain his ranking until the end and accumulated a large advantage in number of stack before the final duel. After a deal with Pim Van Wieringen, Jarefjäll was elected, at the conclusion of the EMOP Prague final, champion and pocketed the opportunity for a gain of € 52,277. Note that this tournament of € 1,100 buy-in was attended by 229 competitors. The talent of the Swedish is not unknown to the public because it's his second victory in the EMOP circuit. Indeed, Jarefjäll had the privilege to climb at the top of the podium in the poker room of Las Palmas casino in the Canary Islands by winning the title at the € 1,000 main event of this stage of the second season of the EMOP 2010.



As runner up, the Dutchman Van Wieringen was entitled to a bonus of $ 41,963. The third place accompanied by a prize of € 23,560 was awarded to the local player Martin Safarik. Among the players who entered the top 10 of the event, there is the Irishman Kevin Spillane (4th), the two local players Pavel Býma (5th) and Roman Ondrusek (6th), Germany's Sven Bahnsen (7th), the player native of the Isle Emerald Connie O'Sullivan (8th), the Slovak Martin Dragun (9th) and Ireland's Kevin Downing (10th). After this stopover in the Czech Republic, the EMOP will stop in Lisbon, Portugal from March 29 to April 1st, 2012. Estoril Casino was chosen as place that will host this poker tournament.
