European Poker Awards 2012: The title of best player of the year to Sam Trickett
The annual European Poker Awards took place in the Aviation Club de France. During the show, many poker players and celebrities came there to witness the awards ceremony. The nominees for the titles were also among those present. Regarding the result, the jury named Sam Trickett as the best player of the year. His many achievements during the year 2011 earned him this title. The title Hendonmob Player of the Year was attributed to the French number one player, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, who largely defended the honor of France in major tournaments as the name the World Series of Poker 2011 (WSOP). The great "ElkY" also won the prize of Personnality of the Year.
The award of the best performance in tournament returned to Pius Heinz, the world champion of poker 2011. As for the prize of the Revelation of the year, it was awarded to Andrey Pateychuk. Champion of the World Poker Tour National Series, Natalia Nikitina was awarded the prize of the best woman player of the year. The title of Poker Employee of the Year returns to Warren Lush. Jesse May was awarded the prize Rob Gardner for the personality of the year. As for players of online poker, Ilari Sahamies internet was elected Player of the year. And for the title of Best European Tournament of the year, the jury opted for the World Series of Poker Europe in Cannes, which were the biggest poker festival in France in 2011.
