EFOP Gold Championship: Brosolo, the new gold hunter

The European Finals of Poker 2012 is currently the main event of live poker tournaments in France. During the three days of competition, 168 players registered at the Aviation Club de France but in the end, only one winner come out as victorious : Yann Brosolo. Having stumbled at the EPT Prague of last December, the French found the taste of victory after having stood up against Samir Choubani who was also part of the race to win the title. Choubani began the third day of the Gold Championship as chipleader until final duel despite some fears throughout the day. Indeed, Samir Choubani had a stack of more than 1.7 million chips against 1.6 million for Brosolo but this didn't stop Brosolo to reverse the trend and play the final.

The head's up final of the EFOP Gold started around midnight and allowed Yann Brosolo to win the title and the € 75,800 prize for the winner. Samir Choubani is the runner up and got € 56,850. And after the deal, the two players left with € 70,000 and € 62,500. Charles Harvey was ranked at the last step of the podium with € 37,900. The other 17 paid places are respectively occupied by William Saad, Nicolas Langlois, Lucien Cohen, Angelo Besnainou, Amine Cherif, David Lascar, Fabian Switz, Julien Pitcho, Jean-Louis Santoni, Nico Cardyn, Adrien Casanova, Martial Blangenwitsch, Benjamin Pollak, Alain Goldberg, Harry Loria, Suat Uyanik and Guy Halimi.
