Grosvenor United Kingdom Poker Tour: A wonderful program for the sixth season
The sixth season of the tournament Grosvenor United Kingdom Poker Tour (GUKPT), which will start on January 23 promises to be a great festival of poker. Indeed, the organizers brought some improvements and following the request of many followers of the circuit, two new phases are planned for this new edition. In total therefore, the GUKPT 2012 will have 13 steps. At each stage, four main event of £ 500 buy-in will be in the program and will allow players to play poker deepstack and Six-Max, but the main event of £ 1,000 will be also kept. A new classification of the GUKPT will be implemented and the best of the list will have the honor to participate in all single main event of the 7th edition and will also receive a package of £ 40,000 that will ensure his accommodations. And finally, the Champion of Champions tournament will be also back.
The first meeting of the followers of the tournament will be held then in Manchester in January 23, 2012. From March 11, it will be the town of Walsall that will host the event before it goes to Stockton on April 8 of this year. Another step will be held during the month of April. This is the GUKPT Thanet starting on April 22, 2012. The two new stages, that of Dublin and that of Belgium will be held respectively on May 6 and June 3. In July, two steps are also programmed which are the GUKPT Plymouth on July 1st and the GUKPT Bolton on July 15. The stage of Coventry will be held from August 19 and on September 16, poker enthusiasts are expected in the poker room of Vic in London. Luton will be the host city of the 11th stage of the tournament which will begin on October 14th and the last step before the grand final will be held in Blackpool on November 4, 2012.
