EFOP Bronze Championship: The victory for Alexander Réard

The Euro Finals of Poker 2012 is taking place at the Aviation Club de France until January 29. On the evening of Monday, January 16, the ACF hosted the Bronze Championship, a tournament of € 500 buy-in that took place over two days. This poker tournament brought together 179 participants with the presence of many French players like Laurent Polito, Frank Hagege, Fred Coranson Alexander Réard, Ruben Smadja, Jean Pierre Huard, Amichi Mahdi, Jonathan Zaoui or Julien Jolivet. This field of 179 players generated a prize pool of € 83,235 to be shared among the 20 paid places. After two days of fierce competition, it is ultimately the French Alexandre Réard who was the best by winning the title and also pocketed € 19,980 for the winner.



Behind Alexandre Réard, there are other French as Florent Schwartz (€ 14,980), Laurent Polito (€ 9,990), Gianni Giardinelli (€ 6,660), Franck Hagege (€ 4,990) and Ruben Smadja (€ 4,160) for the Top 6. The Bulgarian Nedelcho Karakolev for his part took the 7th place with € 3,330 of earnings, just ahead of the French Fred Coranson (€ 2,910) and Patrice Boudet (€ 2,500). The Silver Championship tournament with a buy-in of € 1,000 began last Wednesday, January 18 while the Gold Championship of € 2,000 buy-in will begin on Friday. The Diamond Championship of € 5,000 buy-in will be the appointment not to be missed before the end of the tournament, from January 26 to 29.
