WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star: The name of the “bounty” has just been unveiled

The World Poker Tour Bay Shooting Star (WPT) is one of the major stages of the WPT circuit. This year, it will run as usual in San Jose, California from March 5, 2012. Organizers have just announced the names of the stars of poker as "Bounty" during the event of $ 10,000. This tournament is planned to gather many people, because it is an opportunity for poker enthusiasts to challenge big players on live tables, not to mention that the winner will receive a big gain. During the WPT Bay Shooting Star 2012, therefore, a reward of $ 5,000 will be offered to the player able to eliminate one of the 49 poker pros who will be on the gaming table such as Jonathan Duhamel, Erik Seidel, Phil Hellmuth, Jason Mercier, Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greinstein, Erick Lindgren, Antonio Esfandiari, Chris Moorman, Freddy Deeb, Eugene Katchalov, Joe Hachem, Tony G, Jennifer Harman, Maria Ho, Scotty Nguyen, Liv Boeree, Men Nguyen, Michael Mizrachi and the star of the finals 2011 Mike Matusow. The two French stars Bertrand Grospellier and Fabrice Soulier will be also present there.

Note that the title was won by an amateur named Alan Sternberg last year. He managed to oust the pro Steven Kelly and Mike Matusow, a feat that let him earn a great reward of one million dollars. The champion of this new edition will certainly walk away with such a large sum. Moreover, in addition to the $ 5,000 premium, the best players arriving to reach the top of the list at the end of day 1A and 1B will receive additional prizes.
