PCA High Roller Event: Bilokur win after a head's up against Duhamel

The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) attracted 148 players for the NLH 8-Max High Roller Event of $ 25,000 buy-in. Many well-known poker players competed at the event but in the end, it's Leonid Bilokur who emerged victorious. During the nine hours of play, six players from the eight finalists left one by one the final table leaving the Ukrainian Leonid Bilokur and the Canadian Jonathan Duhamel in the head's up . The Ukrainian has taken over his opponent and grabs the title and win more than a million dollars. Behind Bilokur and his $ 1,134,930, there are Jonathan Duhamel with $ 634,550 followed by Isaac Haxton ($ 380,730). The last five places are occupied respectively by Jason Koon ($ 271,950), Nicolas Fierro ($ 217,560), Govert Metaal ($ 181,300), Michael Telkes ($ 145,040) and Randy Lew ($ 108,780).

But the strong man of this trip to the Bahamas of the European Poker Tour is the Canadian Jonathan Duhamel who was paid four cashes at the final tables of the PCA 2012. Indeed, Duhamel pocketed $ 1,205,970 in just one week after his fourth place in the $ 100,000 Super High Roller NLH ($ 313,600), a fifth place in the $ 5,000 NLH 8-Max Turbo ($ 17,990), a first place in the $ 5,000 NLH 8-Max ($ 239,830) and a second place in the $ 25,000 NLH 8-Max High Roller ($ 634,550). With this excellent performance, the champion of the WSOP Main Event 2010 marked his come back in poker tournaments after a difficult season during which he lost his WSOP bracelet and some money as a result of the homejacking of his residence in Boucherville.
