Joe Hachem and Shane Warne Charity Poker Tournament: Many stars at the fifth edition

For the fifth consecutive year, the charity tournament called Joe Hachem and Shane Warne Charity Poker Tournament will be played again in the Crown Casino, in Melbourne, alongside the Aussie Millions 2012. This event launched by the former world champion of poker Joe Hachem and the famous cricketer Shane Warne will be held on January 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. This year, the benefits will be allocated to the Shane Warne Foundation, which assists children with serious illness and to disadvantaged children in Australia. Since 2004, the foundation managed to raise a fund of more than $ 5 million.



This weekend, generous poker enthusiasts are invited to participate in this event of $ 1,000 buy-in. Participants will have the privilege to face poker stars and celebrities in sports and showbiz. Organizers estimate more than 100 participants to gather at this special event, allowing them to record a prize pool of $ 65,000. Already, a few celebrities such as Peter Moylan, Fifi Box, the boxer Jeff Fenech, the stars of rugby Brandon Goddard, Jason Akerman, Luke Hodge, Dermott Brereton, Leigh Montagna, Jimmy Bartel, Tony G and Clonie Gowen also confirmed their presence.
