Global Poker Index: Jason Mercier at the top of the ranking

After the implementation of a new system update, the result of the Global Poker Index (GPI) has seen some major changes especially in the last five places of the Top 10. In addition, the Director of information of the Federated Sports + Gaming (FS + G) announced that the selection system of the GPI will be reviewed every six months. If the first place of the GPI is still occupied by the American star of 25 years old, Jason Mercier, who has now 3,015.08 points, the second place went to his compatriot Erik Seidel who hold 2,851, 80 points. He dethroned the French number one Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier who had a total of 2,805, 75 points. The fourth and fifth place are still occupied respectively by the Ukrainian Eugene Katchalov and Sam Trickett.

The biggest news of this GPI result is the accession of Vanessa Selbst in the Top 10 of players in live poker tournament in the world. She won five places and is now in the 6th position with 2,441.15 points. Will Failla aka "The Thrill" also won a place and is currently in the 7th position while the Canadian Shawn Buchanan lost two places and is at the 8th position. The player who occupies the 9 th position also won a place. This is Matt Waxman. And finally, at the 10th position is Sorel Mizzi who also lost two points. Note that given the results of the latest poker events like the World Poker Tour Ireland or the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, this classification could register other changes.
