PCA 2012: Victor Blom as champion of the Super High Roller

While the main event of the tournament PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 2012 (PCA) reaches actually its second day of competition, the audience at the Atlantic Resort in Bahamas was able to attend the coronation of the champion of the Super High Roller tournament. This event of $ 100,000 entry fee gathered on gaming tables the best poker players of the moment. And at the end of the competition, it was Viktor Blom aka "Isildur 1", renowned for his performance in online poker cash games that managed to clinch the title. Holder of the fourth largest stack at the beginning of the final table, "Isildur 1" did a great rise and dismissed several major poker players in present in the field as Daniel Negreanu who surrendered at the 5th place and pocketed a prize of $ 250,900, the world champion of poker 2010 Jonathan Duhamel who finished fourth and earned $ 313,600 but also Scott Seiver who finally settled for the place of bubble boy.



Note that the prize pool of $ 3,136,000 raised during this tournament was distributed to the five best players in the game. After the elimination of the PCA 2011 champion Galen Hall at the third place with a reward of $ 470,400, Viktor Blom and Dan Shak started the final duel. Dan Shak was then defeated in the second place and collected $ 846,700 for that performance while Blom, thanks to his talent, was entitled to the lion's share of the prize pool totaling $ 1,254,000.
