Super Lotto of Nancy Lions Club: Special cardboards for blind
Bingo is a very successful event that attracts many people. In this New Year period, this event remains as the most appropriate to gather up people to share a moment of relaxation in an atmosphere both friendly and warm. On the side of Nancy, in Lorraine, the Lions Club of Nancy organized their annual lottery this Sunday, January 8 at the hall of Gentilly. This bingo bonus afternoon was a bit special, because among the participants, there were blind and infrastructure and special accessories for them were available. Indeed, the blind will have revolutionary cardboards created by Christian Thirion. Already creator of sudoku in braille and dominoes ad hoc, this professor of physics at the University of Nancy invented these new very intuitive cards. The boxes already existed for the blind, but its use is lacking, especially when the player checks if a particular case has not yet been fulfilled: the pieces can mix in!
This invention funded by the Lions Club "Art Nouveau" allows them to play bingo like other "normal" people in the room. Thus, blind and persons having a normal vision have an equal chance as in the speed as in the distribution of prizes. Many prizes are to won during the Super Lotto of Nancy Lions Club, and the big prize consists of a voucher of € 1,000. A reward that can refuel after these two weeks of parties where most households did not count the expense to please their families.
