Snai Poker Cup: Federico Prevett as favorite

Live poker is always in the spotlight during this end of the year even if major tournaments marked a break of a few weeks to let poker players enjoy the festivities. In Italy, poker does not break ! After the WPT step of last December 13, the city of Venice receives right now the Snai Poker Cup in Casino Ca 'Noghera for a Main Event of € 600 + 60 buy-in. The tournament began Tuesday, December 27 for two entries a day. On Day 1A of the Snai Poker Cup, 88 players were registered, but at the end of the day, only 31 players were able to qualify for Day 2 with Giovanni Chiofalo as chip leader with 193,000 chips, followed by Domenico Antonio Tresa (175,000) and Gaetano La Malfa (155,000).



At the second entrance of the Day 1, 157 players were registered with the presence of some players who were eliminated on Day 1A. At the end of Day 1B, 59 survivors got their tickets for Day 2. Federico Prevett held the chip lead and is favorite for the rest of the competition with 223,100 chips followed by Fortunato Festa (186,500) and Luigi Percossi (179,300). In all, it remains 90 survivors from Day 1A and Day 1B of which 27 places will be paid by the prize pool of more than € 145,000 which € 36,000 of it will be offered to the winner of this poker tournament.
