Villardonnel and Autun: The Christmas Lottery bring happiness to the participants
Each year the Foyer Rural of Villardonnel in the department of Aude, Languedoc-Roussillon region organize a Christmas Lottery to allow faithful participants to win prizes as gifts for Christmas Eve and also to keep good moods for the New Year. Last Sunday, the home of the village gathered about sixty people who met in the evening for a bingo but also to share the festive atmosphere as dear to the lottery. Around midnight, all these people walked away with some good arms loaded while others consoled themselves with the homemade taste and the warm and friendly atmosphere that reigned in the room. Prizes provided were adequate for this festive season: sweets, poultry, wine, etc.
In Autun, in the department of Saone-et-Loire, Bourgogne region, the Club Rencontres et Découvertes chaired by Jean Marthien held its super lotto in the Great Hall of the Residence du Parc Floral. On the afternoon of last Tuesday, many people from surrounding villages came out to the last event of the year of the association. The atmosphere was family-type and the winners shared the 16 gift baskets dedicated to lucky players. A super Christmas dessert was served to the whole room while members received their Christmas chocolates. With the success of this bingo bonus at the end of the year, the Club Rencontres et Découvertes already give appointments to the faithful participants on Tuesday, January 10 for its first lottery of the year. Hope there will be a free bingo at this next meeting!
