Epic Poker League: Erik Seidel in an excellent position

The dean and renowned poker player, Doyle Brunson launched yesterday the third edition of the tournament Epic Poker League in the poker room of Palms Casino, in Las Vegas. Note that the legend of poker card was awarded a lifetime access to the various stages of the EPIC before the start of the day. A field of 100 players were registered in the tournament which allowed organizers to collect a prize pool of $ 2,360,000. At the end of this first day of competition, Texas Dolly had to surrender. In the opposite, Erik Seidel is leading the 61 survivors of the second day of competition with 223,000 chips in hand.

As usual, the best players that are in an excellent position in the Global Poker Index ranking were in this field. Many of these poker elite did not survive as Andrew Robl, Jennifer Harman, Matt Marafioti, Mike McDonald, Antonio Esfandiari, Chris Moorman, Joseph Cheong and Sam Trickett. As for the representatives of France, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier who has just won the first place in the GPI and Fabrice Soulier also joined the bench of eliminated players. Vanessa Rousso is still in the race. As for the top 10 of the tournament, we note the presence of top players such as Scott Clements who occupies the second position with 203,400 chips in hand, Vanessa Selbst (3rd), David Williams (5th), Matt Glanz (6th) and Tom Marchese (7th).
