World Poker Marrakesh: Begin of the event
The start of the World Poker Tour Marrakesh 2011 (WPT) was held on November 24, 2011. This tournament of € 2,700 + 300 buy-in is taking place in the poker room of casino Es Saadi in Marrakesh. This event is expected to attract a lot of poker stars from France. Regarding the structure of the tournament, players are entitled to 30,000 starting chips for game levels of 60 minutes. The final day will be held next Sunday, November 27. The public will then see at casino Es Saadi the lucky who will acquire the title.
In addition to this main event that gathered 222 players in the last edition, the WPT Marrakesh will be composed of many side events. This Friday, November 25 from 5:00 p.m, players will compete for the title of the tournament No Limit Hold'em Freezeout of € 500 buy-in. On the sidelines of the third day of competition of the main event, a Turbosat freezeout for the NLHE Freezeout of November 27 will be held. And at 5:00 p.m, competitors can play poker deepstack during the NLHE Freezeout Deepstack of € 900 buy-in. Note that a satellite tournament qualifier for this event available for € 90 buy-in will take place on November 25 from 9:00 p.m The tournament that will close this stage of the Moroccan WPT will be the Short Handed of € 320 buy-in. After this event, Marrakesh will host another major tournament on December 16 which is the Deepstack Open.
