Nations Cup: London to host the first competition

The Nation Cup tournament began on Thursday, November 17 in London. As a reminder, this is an event organized by the International Federation of Poker (IFP) opposing 12 teams, each consisting of six players representing various great nations of the world as the U.S.A, Ireland, Australia, Netherlands or Germany. Since November 17 to 20, therefore, many well-known poker players will be present in the poker room of Sports Minds Festival. Indeed, besides French players as Jean Paul Pasqualini, David Benyamine, Nicolas Levi, Lucille Cailly and Hugo Lemaire led by Fabrice Soulier, the public can also see pros of the game such as Barry Greenstein, Mads Wissing, Antonio Esfandiari, Sandra Naujocks, Isaac Haxton, Sebastian Ruthenberg, Gus Hansen, Liv Boeree, Jake Cody, Tony G, Sam Trickett, Leo Margets, Eoghan O'Dea, Leo Jorgensen or Vanessa Selbst playing at this event.

As previously announced, the Duplicate Poker format was chosen at this meeting. This concept do that every player, regardless of his place on the gaming tables will receive the same cards as players who will sit in the same place. It would therefore be more difficult for players to win by relying on luck. This tournament makes it possible to evaluate the performance of every player on tables. On the other hand, clashes promise to be fierce as each competitor will highlight his expertise and talent for the game. The grand finale is scheduled to be held on November 20 and a prize pool of $ 500,000 is to be distributed to the best players.
