WSOP November Nine: It remains three players

The final table of the World Series of Poker 2011 (WSOP) began as scheduled last Sunday, November 6 with the participation of Novemeber Niner : Martin Staszko (TCH), Eoghan O'Dea (IRL), Matt Giannetti (United States), Phil Collins (United States), Ben Lamb (United States), Badih Bounahra (United States), Pius Heinz (ALL), Anton Makievskyi (UKR) and Samuel Holden (ANG). Even if the results expected wasn't reached according to the words of Seth Palansky, the communications director of the WSOP, but the day of Sunday was full of suspense with the final elimination of Matt Giannetti, the winner of the World Poker Tour Malta. The U.S. player was eliminated in the fourth place and said goodbye to the bracelet but can still be happy by having pocketed $ 3,012,700 in prize money. Sam Holden was the first eliminated and earned $ 782,115 followed by Anton Makiievskyi ($ 1,010,015), Bob Bounahra ($ 1,314,097), Eoghan O'Dea ($ 1,720,831) and Phil Collins (2,269,599 $).



After 10 hours of play, the three survivors of the final table was finally known to start the second day of the tournament, a day that begins this Monday, November 7. Pius Heinz is the first on the list of future champion of the last November Nine of the history with 107.8 million chips followed by Ben Lamb with 55.4 million chips and 42.7 million chips for Martin Staszko. One of these three poker players will go home with the $ 8,715,638 prize that wait the winner while the other two players will each receive $ 5,433,086 and $ 4,021,138.
