WPT World Poker Finals: Victory of Daniel Santoro

Having gathered 189 players who paid a buy-in of $ 10,000 generating a prize pool of $ 1,778,300, the World Poker Tour World Poker Finals (WPT) ended with a victory of the American Daniel Santoro. The champion who was ranked in the third place at the start of this final table managed to win the trophy and the first prize of $ 449,910. Before this feat that he accomplished in the poker room of Foxwoods Resort Casino, Santoro already reached a place of runner-up place in a $ 2,500 tournament held during the WPT Borgata Poker Open in 2007 that let him earn a bonus of $ 129,360 and many other good results in live poker tournaments. However, it is for the first time that he is a champion of the WPT.

Well known players were however part of this event as Christian Harder who finished 4th in the WPT Five Star World Poker Classic in 2009 and Andy Frankenberger during this final table of the WPT World Poker Finals.
